WaveCrest, a stunning, four season guest house, situated on the shore of Lake Ontario; less than two hours from Toronto in the quaint village of Wellington in Prince Edward County.

WaveCrest Guest House

A two story, two bedroom, three bathroom guest house situated just a few feet from the waters edge. Enjoy sitting in the living room watching the lake through the south wall of the cottage, constructed entirely of glass. Relax and watch the many species of birds or the magnificent waves sitting in the dining room or casually relaxing around the granite island in the kitchen. Step out to the private deck steps from the water to enjoy the view or relax in the hammock which floats above the shore.


The guest house is well appointed. A large flat screen LCD/HD television sits above the fireplace mantel. Surround sound, and a DVD/CD player is located in the living room, also included are high speed internet access and cable. The kitchen is a gourmet’s delight. Granite counter tops and island, a convection gas stove, beautiful cabinetry and a wonderful dining room. The laundry room is located on the first floor. The guest house is fully air-conditioned.


Each bedroom has a queen size bed, boasts a four-piece on-suite and a fantastic view of the lake with Juliet balconies.


The Suite of WaveCrest

A lovely bedroom suite, with a four-piece ensuite, breakfast bar, flat screen LCD TV, DVD/CD player and queen sized bed is perfect for a romantic getaway. Enjoy looking out at the beautiful garden through the large picture window, or watch the lake through a smaller window in the breakfast bar area.

The suite of WaveCrest includes a daily gourmet boxed lunch prepared by Chef Michelle from Integration Fine Dining. Please state any dietary restrictions upon booking. A menu can be provided in advance.



If you enjoy a private deck, but prefer a sandy beach vacation, than you are in luck. Sandbanks Provincial Park; one of the largest freshwater sand dunes in North America is just a short drive away. Located a little further from Wellington are the beaches of Presqu’ile, Lake on the Mountain and North Beach, and let’s not forget Wellington’s own beach and boardwalk located just four blocks from WaveCrest and one block from the marina.


Enjoy a day of tasting and discovery, sipping on fantastic wines from the many VQA Wineries of Prince Edward County which are situated minutes from WaveCrest. Afterwards visit one of the numerous fine dining establishments located within the County. Museums, theatre, art galleries, fine dining and wonderful antique shops abound in Wellington and the nearby Villages of Bloomfield, Picton, Ameliasburg, Milford and Hillier.


If you are a cyclist, golfer, jogger, hiker, stroller, bird watcher or photographer; take advantage of the wonderful scenery, country roads, golf courses and trails Prince Edward County has to offer. If you enjoy swimming, take a dip on the shore, a few steps down from the guest house. If sailing, kayaking and canoeing pique your interest, Kayak Touring of Quinte Isle is located seconds away from WaveCrest. Motorboat rentals are also available just down the street at the local Marina.
